The Mountfield SP42 petrol lawnmower is a self-propelled machine of superior-build quality, classic design and includes various clever features at a reasonable price. This robust machine is equipped with a steel chassis and and a powerful Stiga ST120 engine, and thanks to its overhead-value (OHV) configuration, is pleasantly quiet in operation and cheap to run.

The Mountfield SP42 is ideal for being used in small to medium sized gardens. Choose from 6 different cutting heights that vary from 22 mm - 65 mm, with the 41 cm cutting deck to ensure a precise cut to your lawn. The power-driven-rear-wheels offer great manoeuvrability in tight areas with inclines and rough ground.

This mower isn't just a standard cut and collect machine, it can also be set-up to mulch where the finely cut grass cuttings are dispersed into the soil and act as a natural fertiliser by providing essential nutrients so your lawn maintains a great condition. This can be great to use for numerous reasons in addition to improving the nutrition of your lawn, like removing the need for collecting and disposing of your grass clippings, plus reducing the need for regular lawn fertiliser treatment.

Equipped with a 60 Litre grass collector, it is unlikely that you will overfill the Mountfield SP42 collector bag due it being crafted from breathable canvas to maximise catcher-capacity.

Went in on Saturday 08/07 as needed a part for my Dads hedge Trimmer, (primer bulb)they didn't have the part in stock but the assistant had a second hand one to get the hedge trimmer going amazing service so easily could have said no stock and goodbye. really grateful to this great company keep it up and thank-you so much.
